Backed by a 14 point, Issac Knowles effort, Maggies Basket Hounds defeated DeKalb Community Bank Saturday, 22-12.
Knowles led all scorers on the day with 14 points as the Basket Hounds jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Opening the game with a 6-1 run, MBH scored early and often and led as much as 14 late in the third period.

Ryan Thompson scored 6 points for DCB Saturday.
Ryan Thompson and Brayden Tubbs each had stellar games for DCB, accounting for all of DCB’s points and, early in the third period, brought their team back within striking distance. MBH would string together 6 straight points to end the threat through and closed the game out strong to get the win.
Behind Knowles, Holden Trapp scored 4 points for the Basket Hounds and brother Gage Trapp and Conner Vance each had 2 points.
For DCB, Ryan Thompson and Brayden Tubbs each had 6 points.
