Jr. Pro Juniors fall to Fentress County, 8-0

The DeKalb Jr. Tigers took on a tough Fentress County Bulldog team last Saturday in Smithville in what would prove to be a defensive struggle.  Although DeKalb played well throughout the contest, the Tigers fell to Fentress County, 8-0

Neither team could crack their opponent’s stout defense in the first half, but it would only take one play in the second half for Fentress County to burst onto the scoreboard.

Taking the opening kickoff of the second half, Fentress County rumbled all the way to the endzone to put up what would prove to be the only score of the game, and give the Bulldogs the victory, 8-0.

DeKalb will play again this Saturday at home when the Overton County Outlaws will pay a visit to Smithville.
