Jr. Pro Teams Rained Out Saturday

Rain forced a cancellation of most of DeKalb’s Junior Pro teams’ action Saturday in Baxter versus Monterey.  However, the Pewee team did manage to complete almost 3 quarters of play.

With less than a minute left in the third quarter, the game was delayed because of lightening in the area, with the score knotted at 6-6.  Owen Snipes scored the Tigers’ lone touchdown on an eleven yard scamper, midway through the second quarter.

No date has yet been set for the makeup of the day’s cancellations.
