The ball just didn’t fall right for the Pewee team Saturday, as the Crossville Panthers came to Smithville and got the better of DeKalb, 32-0.

DeKalb was able to keep it close in the first half, being down by only 12, but Crossville came out hot in to start the second half 3 more touchdowns on the scoreboard, to pull away easily. The much bigger Panther team seemingly was able to run at will all day, and faced only 3 first downs the entire game.

DeKalb will get a much earned break this Saturday before looking to grab their second win of the season when rival Smith County travels to Smithville on the 26th.  The games will be earlier than usual with kickoff for the team scheduled for 9:00 am.
