The DC Peewee team traveled to Livingston Saturday in a matchup against the Overton County Outlaws. The Tigers struggled in the morning heat and fell to the Outlaws, 13-0.

DC’s offense was kept off balance throughout the game, gaining only 34 total yards throughout the contest.  The Black and Gold Defense played ‘Bend but don’t break” defense for much of the game but gave up a long touchdown run early and an another late, effectively in garbage time.  Luke Midgett caused a fumble on the first drive of the game, but the Tigers weren’t able to capitalize.

On the day, the Tigers had only 2 players with positive yards in the contest, Seth Fuson with 23 yards rushing and Owen Snipes with 19.

Eight different Tigers had tackles in the game, led by Owen Snipes with 6.  Wesley Kent, Ayden Bean and Westin Wright each had 4 tackles while Kholton Melton had 3 in the contest.  Luke Midgett had two tackles on the day while Aiden Taylor and Axel Aranda added 1.

The Tigers will finish up their rain delayed contest with Monterey at 2:00 tomorrow at Cornerstone in Baxter.
