It was just another day and another win for the Senior Tigers Saturday.  Defeating the Fentress County Bulldogs, 20-6, the Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season.

After giving up a tying score in the first quarter, DeKalb took control in the second and never looked back.

DeKalb looked impressive even from the start, taking it’s opening drive all the way downfield before Issac Knowles dove in for the Tiger’s first touchdown.  The PAT would fail, giving DeKalb a 6-09-5-0001 advantage.

Fentress would answer, though, tying the game up late in the first quarter with a Bulldog touchdown.

Tiger quarterback, Kolter Kilgore would show off his arm midway through the second quarter, finding wideout Grayson Hendrix for a touchdown.  Kilgore and Hendrix would again hook up for the point after and DeKalb retook the lead, 14-0.

9-5-0002Neither team would score again until the 3rd quarter when DeKalb would put the final points on the board with a 3 yard Andrew Vickers touchdown run, expanding DeKalb’s lead to 14 and giving the Tigers the win, 20-6.

The Tigers will face the 2-1 Crossville Junior Panthers this Saturday in Smithville.  Game time is appoximately 7:00 pm.
