The Senior Tigers almost pulled out an incredible comeback Saturday when the team traveled to Jamestown to take on the Fentress County Bulldogs.

Even though the team didn’t allow a point in the second half, the Tigers could overtake Fentress County and fell, 13-7.
After watching the Bulldogs score twice in the first half, the Tigers emerged inspired and quickly went to work. On their second drive of the half Tiger quarterback, Chantz Bowling marched his team down field 54 yards on 9 plays capped off by a one yard Skylar Sparks touchdown rumble. Skyler Sparks would convert the PAT and late into the third quarter DeKalb trailed only 13-7.

They would get no closer.
The Tigers next, and final, possession would come close for DeKalb but would fizzle out at the 24 yard line, sending the Tigers home in defeat.
Skyler Sparks ran the ball 10 times for 30 yards and a touchdown. Evan Sprague carried the ball 6 times for 84 yards and had two catches for 24 yards, Alan Munoz rushed three times for 31 yards, while Chance Bowling was 2 for three for 24 yards on the day.
DeKalb will play Overton County in Livingston Saturday.
